Tyrrell's Potato Chips is a small manufacturer of potato crisps (or chips as Tyrrells call them) who claim a unique position as the only small chipmaker (in the UK?) growing their own potatoes what enables them to deliver the very freshest chips to the market.
In april 2008, Will Chase, farmer and owner of Tyrrells Potato Chips sold a majority stake in the company to private equity firm Langholm Capital for 30 million pounds.
