regulatory, legislative and environmental matters of importance to
Michigan potato growers. The Manager reports to the PGMI Board of
Directors. The Manager carries out membership policies under the
direct supervision of the Board of Directors of PGMI. | Qualifications/Requirements | This position requires a strategic, big-picture thinker backed by an
added focus on the tactical aspects of the work. The position requires
an executive who is confident, takes independent action and initiative
with a sense of urgency, and who seeks and accepts decision authority
and responsibility. The successful candidate must work at a
faster-than-average pace, and learn quickly, thoroughly, and in
detail. Candidates should have significant experience in the
agricultural industry, must be a strong leader, communicator and
possess excellent public relations skills. Candidates must be willing
to travel and fulfill the work of an executive which may routinely
