Dear Subscriber,
We are getting close to the end of the year 2007. So get ready for 2008, the
International Year of the Potato!
PotatoPro has gone through an incredible growth this
year: we have now more than 6 times the number of
subscribers as at the beginning of the year and the number
of page views has increased 7-fold, fast approaching the
half million page views on an annual basis.
But wait, we are not done yet for this year! We want to
introduce another new feature to help you stay in touch with
the Latest News. Of course we will continue with the weekly
PotatoPro Newsletter, but why wait for the Newsletter to
have a look at the latest News? You can visit PotatoPro
every day to check for the latest news! Too complicated?
Yes, we agree and therefore we decided that we should make
it easier than that: we have created RSS feeds of our News.
You can put these RSS-feeds in a News feed reader, on your
iGoogle homepage or on your company site and you can always
easily see what the latest News is that has been added to
PotatoPro. And in case you are not yet familiar with RSS
feeds, we have done our best to explain:
the PotatoPro
RSS-Feeds We want to continue our growth next year,
but we can only do that with your support:
|
Do you like PotatoPro?
PotatoPro is free and we want to keep it that way. But we
value and need your support. Here are some ways you can
support us:
-
Recommend us to your colleagues and relations
- Use one or more of our new RSS feeds
on your desktop or your company site
- Submit your company news to us.
- Add a link to PotatoPro on your company website
-
Bookmark the articles you find of particular
interest with our social bookmarking tool you can find
on each page
- Advertise with us
(if you consider advertising, approach us before the end
of the year, since several prices will increase by
January 1, 2008)
- Buy our products

We received more information on the Interpom/primeur.
This exhibition is held each year in Kortrijk. Next year's
exhibition will be held on 30 november and december 1-2.
From own experience I can tell you this is an exhibition
worth visiting.
We added two more events in the Netherlands for those of
you that speak Dutch: het
aardappelwereldcongres and
de aardappeldemodag.
2008 is going to be a busy year!
