On PotatoPro:

|
In this first PotatoPro Newsletter of 2010 we have a lot
of News, quite a number of additions to our conference and expo
schedule for 2010 and the announcement of a number of new features
on the site.
If you are already receiving PotatoPro's daily E-mail,
you may already have seen some of the News in this newsletter.
If you are not yet subscribed to the daily E-mail, you may
want to give it a try: the steadily increasing number of
subscriptions indicates users
like it and what's more, they are telling their
colleagues!
Since we do get a lot of subscriptions from references,
keep telling your colleagues to
subscribe to the
newsletter and
the daily E-mail! And if you are really into
today's real time news delivery,
follow us on twitter and see the news in your twitter stream
as we add it.
As for New features:
In each News article we have expanded our links to
related articles with some "More News on" features: we have
added links to the corresponding category pages and we have
also created some related topics, e.g. "Private Label" ,
"GMO", "calorie posting". Tell us which additional topics
you would like to see.
We also have expanded the Event pages (see
Featured Events) .
You can expect some more changes in the site shortly. Let's
make it an exciting and successful 2010.
Enjoy reading,
Paul van Eijck
We have updated the event list for
the remainder of 2010. Newly added events are in bold.
We expanded our Event pages. We have added a
section "featured organizers" and "featured exhibitors".
Organizations listed in the PotatoPro directories can be
listed as organizer or exhibitor - so let us know if your
company is involved in a potato industry related event and
we will include you.
Depending on
the type
of company listing, your activities also show up in your
company profile.
For twitter users: We now add twitter hashtags (#) to
Event pages if we come across live communication on twitter
for that event. For organizers: Please provide us with your
hashtag.
