Responsible for the overall management and leadership of transportation services to achieve desired service performance and transportation cost. Develop and continually enhance a supply of transportation services to support current and future needs.
Full responsibility for the New Product Development function:
Develop a life cycle plan for current and new varieties which maximizes the success and profitability of a variety but provides triggers for an orderly retirement of a variety before customer listings are lost.
Develop a robust stream of new items which can replace varieties entering the end of life phase. Ensure products recommended for development have a consumer rationale based on changing consumption patterns and which meet or exceed profitability hurdles.
Responsible to maintain current customer accounts and to develop new account relationships. Represent the company’s product lines by servicing existing accounts, obtain orders and establish new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers. Provide outstanding customer service.
