Key Technology Appoints Peter Wood as Process Systems Product Manager

Key Technology announces the appointment of Peter Wood as Process Systems Product Manager.

Wood is responsible for planning and managing activities that support the development and sales of Key’s Smart Shaker® suite of vibratory conveyors, which includes Iso-Flo®, Impulse®, and Horizon™ conveyors.


He also manages Key’s other processing systems products including sizers and graders, food pumps, air cleaners, and more.

“Peter is managing important groups of products that help food processors increase yield and maximize product quality while improving productivity. He is collaborating with various departments at Key to ensure we pursue a coordinated strategy to satisfying customers around the world,” said Steve Johnson, Senior Director of Global Marketing at Key Technology. “With Peter’s strong professional experience and his customer focus, he is a great addition to our organization.”

Wood brings almost 20 years of product and account management experience to his new position. He spent 10 years at the Packaging Equipment Division of Alcoa in various positions including Account Manager and Product Manager, and most recently, he was Market Segment Leader at Climax Portable Machining & Welding Systems. Wood holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and earned his MBA from the University of Denver.
