Hort Connections 2020

COVID-19 Health and Safety Update

After careful consideration, AUSVEG and PMA A-NZ have reluctantly decided to postpone Hort Connections 2020, which was due to be held from 15-17 June 2020 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Our industry’s top priority is the health and safety of our community; this includes consumers, growers and other industry partners. As such, the decision to postpone Hort Connections 2020 is, at this stage, the most responsible course of action we can take to maintain our community’s health and safety.

Hort Connections 2021 will be held from 7-9 June 2021 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

We will be monitoring the COVID-19 situation in Australia and abroad and will be working to ensure that Hort Connections will resume in 2021 bigger and better than ever.

We will honour the financial commitments that industry and supply chain partners have made for Hort Connections 2020 and roll them over into next year’s event. We will be in touch with each industry and supply chain partner separately over the next week to discuss these arrangements in more detail.

We would like to thank those who have supported Hort Connections and look forward to working with you all in 2021.

More details around Hort Connections 2021 will be released in the coming months.

Event Description
Hort Connections 2020 in Brisbane follows on from a very successful Hort Connections 2019 in Melbourne. Our conference theme Sustaining the Future of Fresh, will look at the many ways we as an industry can help producers to grow more with less.

Whether it be through technology, labour solutions, or just general financial and environmental sustainability, Hort Connections will seek to answer this question by highlighting and displaying exiting new possibilities set to shape the industry.

Hort Connections 2020 will connect an even larger number of horticulture industry leaders who’re wishing to conduct business, examine trends, and discuss topics of common interest.

Attendee analysis indicates a diverse-cross-section of the produce industry is covered, with those identifying as a grower/packer/processor forming the largest segment.

If you are a part of the industry, looking to do business with the industry or simply want to create future opportunities in horticulture, Hort Connections 2020 covers every segment of the fresh produce value chain and all the industries that support it.

88% of delegates agreed that Hort Connections is a must attend event for those in the fresh produce industry – Post Event Survey, 2019
