Wyma's Clean Wet Hopper receives and stores produce in water prior to packaging, eliminating the need for boxes/bins. Flumes or conveyors gently carry produce to the bunker.
Combi-Washer
Our Combi-Washer integrates a Barrel Washer and Floating Debris Remover. Produce continues on to the Barrel Washer where it is washed (for more information, see Barrel-Washer).
Mega-Polisher
Wyma's Mega-Polisher is the largest vegetable polishing system in the world. It consists of two Vege-Polisher™ machines linked together.
Combi-washer
The Tolsma-Grisnich Combi-washer is a combination of the stone-, clod, and haulm seperator and the TG-W washer installation.
Pre Washer
Based on mutual friction, the drum washer will remove clay, sand, and soil from the potatoes.
After Washer
The After Washer prepares potatoes and other like products for further processing following the steam peeler. The rotating drum is a single axis, direct-drive design to avoid slippage during rotation.
Peeler/Scrubber/Washer – 2920/2922
Vanmark’s Peeler/Scrubber/Washers integrate the washing and peeling of a variety of products into one machine effectively and efficiently.
Brush washer 815
Brush washer 815 is used to wash and peel fruit, and wash after peeling vegetables like potatoes, carrots, turnips, red beets and celery. Inside the trough, an adjustable screw regulates the product flow or the time the product spends in the machine.
Vege-Polisher™ V2B
Wyma's V2B Vege-Polisher™ has a rotating drum made up of rows of nylon brushes. Produce enters via a large infeed chute. Two water pipes spray fresh and/or recycled water on the produce as it travels through the drum.
Barrel Washer
Wyma's Barrel Washer is a cost-effective machine that effectively and gently washes fresh produce while removing soil and small stones. Produce can be partially or fully submerged during washing. As the perforated barrel rotates, vegetables rub against each other and the barrel for a gentle clean.
Washing & Grading Plant
The plant is designed for the preparation, washing, polishing and sorting of ware potatoes. Both parts of the plant display first-class workmanship down to the smallest detail and are connected together in a highly efficient manner.
