Potato Washing Auger (Washing and Elevating)
DTS- Washing augers are used to remove soil from unpeeled potatoes, or skin residues from peeled potatoes. The specially designed auger creates tumbling of potatoes while being washed.
Small line to pack potatoes
In this example of a small line to pack potatoes (5 ton per hour), produce can be received onto an Elevator where they are fed into a Horizontal Debris Remover, to remove loose dirt, vine, and other debris.
Combi-Washer
Our Combi-Washer integrates a Barrel Washer and Floating Debris Remover. Produce continues on to the Barrel Washer where it is washed (for more information, see Barrel-Washer).
After Washer
The After Washer prepares potatoes and other like products for further processing following the steam peeler. The rotating drum is a single axis, direct-drive design to avoid slippage during rotation.
Combi-System
Our Combi-System combines a Tank Destoner, Barrel Washer and Floating Debris Remover. Produce and stones are fed into the Tank Destoner.
Combi-washer
The Tolsma-Grisnich Combi-washer is a combination of the stone-, clod, and haulm seperator and the TG-W washer installation.
Medium Potato Line
Medium Potato line is a 25-ton line which has two receiving options. Produce may be received directly from a field harvest truck or via storage bins using an Electric Bin Tipper.
Flat Bed Brusher
Wyma Flat Bed Brusher systems are made up of individual 10 or 15-row modules bolted together to make a customized combination system. Each shaft can be fitted with your choice of brush or drying rollers.
Wet Hopper
Wyma's Wet Hopper provides a gentle pre-washing system, to receive produce into washing and packing lines. The system comprises hopper storage, a floor conveyor, discharge elevator and can also include optional add-ons and/or customized modules for a tailored solution.
Washing & Grading Plant
The plant is designed for the preparation, washing, polishing and sorting of ware potatoes. Both parts of the plant display first-class workmanship down to the smallest detail and are connected together in a highly efficient manner.
