Founded in Kuwait in 1964, the group operates 1800 restaurants across the region as well as 25 food production sites across the UAE, KSA, Kuwait and Egypt.

Americana Foods food production activities includes both the production of chips and snacks as well as the production of french fries - in a joint venture with Farm Frites.

Americana restaurants operates mostly QSR chains under well-known international brands, including KFC, Pizza Hut, TGI Fridays, Olive Garden, Krispy Kreme, Costa Coffee, Chicken Tikka, Fusion Far Eastern, Grand Cafe, Longhorn Steakhouse, Red Lobster, Baskin Robbins and Fish Market.
