Tras pruebas en la Estación Experimental del IDIAP en Tierras Altas y fincas de productores colaboradores, hay resultados alentadores en el cultivo de papa.

In Mexico, researchers of the National Forestry, Agriculture, and Livestock Research Institute (INIFAP), part of the Mexican Ministry of agriculture (SAGARPA), have developed a new potato variety, Citlali, with improved tolerance to diseases.

According to evaluations performed by the Agricultural Research Institute of Panama (IDIAP), the producers in the highland and medium regions of the province of Cocle could start producing potatoes.
