FRITAR was formed in 1972 and until 1991 was part of the Igloopol Food Factory. In 1991-2001, the company functioned as an independent state-owned enterprise.
After privatization, since August 2001 FRITAR is a joint stock company with fully Polish capital. The largest shareholder is the company from the food industry IGLOKRAK LLC in Krakow.
FRITAR SA has over 30 years of experience in the production of frozen food.
Today, FRITAR SA is the largest Polish producer of french fries and one of the main Polish producers of frozen fruit and vegetable products.
