Over the last 110 years, they have achieved a range of fundamental breakthroughs, resulting in major societal impacts. All the plant and microbial science they are working on, their departments, facilities, and support for researchers.

Their research aims to address global challenges and their knowledge of plants and microbes is used to answer fundamental questions, as well as have a significant impact on industrial biotechnology, society, and global development.
