Pulsemaster is an innovative company providing Pulsed Electric Field Systems (PEF) for the food industry.

All PEF systems used by industry to make French fries and crisps, built according to Marx solid-state typology and running successfully in the potato industry in Germany, US, Canada, The Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Australia, India, and China, technically originate from the work of Pulsemaster’s highly qualified team of German engineering experts. Their robust Marx solid-state typology enables better pulse control and high reliability.

Pulsemaster can supply a range of robust PEF systems, covering a wide power range up to 100kW per system to meet the growing demand for higher input capacities as high as 154.000 to 176.000 lbs of potatoes per hour (70 to 80 tons per hour). All of which results in an improved output of French fries in lbs/h or tons per hour, reduced costs of ownership, and higher product quality.

The heart of a PEF-system is the Pulse generator: Pulsemaster offers several Pulse generators with a range of capacities.

Pulsemaster is specialized in pulsed electric field processing and aspires to apply this innovative technology – also known as electroporation – to a broad spectrum of applications in the food industry. Not only as a method for mild food preservation but also as a means of improving process efficiency and product quality.

PEF technology has enormous potential in both the food & beverage industry and scientific sectors. Pulsemaster’s goal is to exploit and spread the full potential of pulsed electric field treatment. This way Pulsemaster wants to help companies further improve their processes and products.

The Dutch-German company Pulsemaster combines years of a unique experience with pulsed power technology. The production facility is located in Hapert, The Netherlands. Pulsemaster has an office for the German market at its disposal in Lohne (Oldenburg), in Lower Saxony.

In Woodstock, NB Canada, Pulsemaster has an office for the North-American market at its disposal. The company aspires to further growth and rapidly develops export activities.

PEF technology meets industry needs for natural and clean processes. Pulsemaster’s Conditioner has a focus on physical processes to maximize the effect of your raw materials and to enhance food quality and safety. Pulsemaster offers a surprisingly effective Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) pilot-scale batch unit under the brand name Solidus to determine the effects of PEF on whole potato tubers to make French fries and crisps.

To produce your industrial-scale numbers on benefits throughout the whole production of French fries, crisps, and specialty potato products or any other raw material such as sweet potatoes and cassava.
