Miami-based Burger King announced that it will expand its brand into Colombia with one restaurant opening during the first half of 2008 in Medellin, and additional restaurants slated to follow over the next two years.
Burger King granted development rights to the franchisee group KINCO S.A, allowing the company to open restaurants in the Columbian cities of Medellin and Cali.
