Canadian Potatoes for Algeria turned back

The Algerian Agriculture ministry ordered to turn back the potato loads imported from Canada.
Agriculture ministry order the immediate turn back of the Canadian potatoes quantities blocked in Algiers harbour for twenty days. An official source within agriculture ministry told El Khabar that “2986 tonnes of potatoes are to be turned back.”
The importer wondered about the decision’s motives and called it purely “political” and results in the media focus.
