There has been some restructuring at the J.R. Simplot Midwest Raw Department. James Kim has accepted the position of Regional Raw Procurement Manager for the Midwest and will be based in Grand Forks. Kim will be responsible for North Dakota and Manitoba raw product contracting, as well as the administrative functions supporting both regions.
Alan Twedt has accepted the position of Raw Procurement Manager for the Grand Forks location. Alan has served as the Raw Product Accountant for our Midwest facilities for the past 8 years;he will continue to support this role until a replacement is hired.
Jason Coates has accepted the position of Raw Procurement Manager for the Portage la Prairie location. Jason has served as the Raw Product Planner/Scheduler for our Portage la Prairie facility for the past 3 years.
Dave Anderson has accepted the position as Field Representative for Grand Forks facility. Prior to this position Dave was the Production Manager for the same plant. Dave will be working with several growers in North Dakota and Minnesota.
Kim says, "I look forward to continuing the working relationship with our current North Dakota and Minnesota growers and am excited to meet and work with our Manitoba growers."
