From Wednesday 5 to Friday 7 February 2014 Agrico will be exhibiting at Fruit Logistica in Berlin. During this major international trade show, Agrico will be presenting its extensive range of seed and table potatoes.

Organisations face daily choices that define and change the world around them and Agrico has been making the right choices for many years now. It has managed to achieve that by offering high-quality, sustainable varieties and by operating a socially responsible business - a modern way of working, which has recently resulted in Agrico becoming ISO-26000 certified.

Under Agrico’s Fruit Logistica theme of “Say Choice”, the company will be demonstrating that choosing Agrico is not just a wise choice, but one that offers lots of choice. With a wide range of varieties, Agrico offers growers an excellent spread of risk and buyers a wide range of taste, cooking types, price, packaging and processing possibilities.

On Thursday 6 February at 11.30 am, Agrico will be holding a festive reception on its stand to celebrate its enduring presence in the potato sector. For more than 40 years Agrico has been choosing continuity, both in the form of varieties fit for the future and in the form of long-term relationships with growers, breeders, partners and clients. During the reception Agrico and its subsidiary companies and partners will be reflecting, symbolically, on this continuous collaboration.

During the trade show Agrico will be placing three successful varieties in the spotlight because of their sustained contribution to the success of the company and the success of its clients. The first variety, Agata, has for many years proven that Agrico’s range of varieties is enduring and fit for the future. This table variety has been one of the most successful Agrico table varieties from the very beginning. The second variety, Fontane, is a young variety that is becoming increasing popular in the chip market. From the latest generation of varieties Agrico will be presenting Carolus, which is a very promising consumer variety.
