17th India Foodex 2026

The 17th India Foodex 2026 is set to be a landmark event that underscores India’s growing leadership in food processing and value-addition. As announced by its organizers, Media Today Group, the exhibition will take place from 16–18 December 2026 in Delhi NCR, running concurrently with the 16th edition of Grain Tech India. 

This edition is expected to feature 350+ exhibition stalls and participants from over 20 countries, drawing more than 25,000 visitors, making it one of the biggest gatherings in the agri-food sector. 

The show will showcase a wide spectrum of technologies and innovations: live machinery demonstrations, food-processing and packaging technologies, grain handling and storage solutions, cold chain systems, and allied services. 

One of the strengths of India Foodex is its strong alignment with government policy and strategic support: India’s food processing sector is being driven by major schemes such as the PM-Kisan SAMPADA Yojana, the PM Formalisation of Micro Food-Processing Enterprises (PMFME) scheme, and production-linked incentive (PLI) programs for food manufacturing. These initiatives are meant to encourage investment across the food value chain — from primary production to processing, packaging, logistics, and exports.

Beyond technology displays, the event will host conferences and workshops, bringing together policymakers, entrepreneurs, technologists, and researchers to discuss the future of India’s food ecosystem, sustainability, “farm-to-fork” models, and investment opportunities. This will also be a platform for startups, scale-ups, and global players to forge partnerships and tap into India’s rapidly modernizing food-processing landscape.

Given India’s agro-climatic diversity — which supports a broad range of crops like millets, cereals, pulses, fruits, and vegetables — the country has a natural competitive advantage in food processing. This wealth of raw materials, combined with the push for advanced processing and infrastructure, positions India as a hub for innovation and quality in the global food supply chain.
