The Abilene Russet is a medium to late-maturing potato variety released in 2015 by the USDA. It has oblong, russeted tubers with white, fluffy flesh that is mealy when cooked. It offers good resistance to common scab and moderate resistance to late blight, PVY, and blackleg.
