Variety Description

Huron Chipper is a high-yielding, very late-maturing chip-stock variety developed by Michigan State University and released in 2020. It features compressed buff-skinned, white-fleshed tubers with good resistance to late blight and common scab. Known for its excellent chip quality from storage, it has a dormancy period of 10–12 weeks but is susceptible to PVY.
