HyFarm Foods Private Limited

HyFarm is the agri-produce procurement and farmer engagement division of HyFun Foods, one of India’s largest frozen food and potato processing companies. Launched with an investment of ₹100 crore, HyFarm strengthens HyFun’s “seed-to-shelf” model by ensuring a sustainable and high-quality supply of raw produce directly from farmers.

Its core activities include contract farming and procurement, initially focused on processing-grade potatoes, with plans to expand into table potatoes, chipping varieties, and other fruits and vegetables. HyFarm also works on building long-term partnerships with farmers, aiming to engage over 30,000 farmers by 2030. By 2028, it targets procuring 1 million tonnes of agricultural produce to support year-round supply for HyFun’s processing facilities.

For farmer empowerment, HyFarm runs HyFarm Paathshala, a training initiative that equips farmers with modern agricultural practices, soil health management, water efficiency techniques, and disease control methods. It also offers digital advisory services powered by AI and precision agriculture, delivering weather alerts, crop monitoring, and real-time guidance. 

HyFarm emphasizes sustainability by promoting regenerative farming practices that protect the environment while maintaining productivity. Its vision is to build a sustainable, technology-driven, and farmer-inclusive ecosystem that ensures farmer prosperity along with a steady supply of high-quality produce for India’s expanding food processing industry.
