AGROGENSA, founded in 2005 and located in Estelí, works with Agrico to provide high-quality potato varieties to farmers in Estelí, Matagalpa, and Jinotega. The company also has a production facility in the Miraflores area where it grows certified seed potatoes, including kinds imported from the Netherlands.

AGROGENSA not only sells certified potato seeds, but also advises farmers on appropriate production and storage procedures. By promoting potato growing, the company hopes to improve the economic situations of Nicaraguan farmers and contribute to value creation along the supply chain.
