BO Akkerbouw is the main industry platform and knowledge center for the Dutch arable agricultural sector. 

Founded in 2014, the organization manages approximately 14 member organisations from the potato, sugar beet, grain, and onion value chains.BO Akkerbouw addresses collective challenges such as soil and plant health, biodiversity, water quality, and disease resistance by facilitating sector-wide research partnerships, certification schemes (including TopCrop 'Safe Food, Sustainable Cultivation'), and innovation initiatives such as the Akkerbooster platform. 

Its annual research and innovation program, funded jointly by growers, includes roughly 70 projects and is government-backed to assure transparent data collecting, applicable outcomes, and continued support for sustainable farming techniques.
