Aviko, one of the leading suppliers and brands in potato products in Europe, has acquired the remaining 75% of the shares in Eurofrits, making the Spanish producer of frozen potato products and snacks a full member of the Aviko group.

Royal Cosun advances sustainability through regional and national deals. Limburg sites cut 30,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually, while a €73 (USD 85.6m) state agreement delivers a 167 kt CO₂ reduction by 2030, plus major nitrogen and ammonia cuts.

The processed potatoes market size is forecast to increase by USD 45 billion at a CAGR of 5.34% between 2024 and 2028. Market expansion is contingent on several factors, such as an increasing emphasis on expanding production capacities for potato processing.
