Europatat has welcomed JAAP Agro as a new member. Operating in the Netherlands, France and Scotland, the company specializes in seed potato production and trade, supplying varieties for table potatoes, crisps and French fries.

Europatat elected Peter Ton, COO of Royal HZPC Group, as President for 2026–2030 during its Brussels Congress. Members also reviewed strategy priorities, including trade, sustainability, water, nutrition, and potato research across Europe.

Europatat welcomes MEDIPO AGRAS H.B. spol. s r.o., a Czech potato specialist with 30+ years of expertise in seed, ware and processing potatoes, offering over 100 potato varieties across Europe.

Europatat has opened registrations for its annual Europatat Congress, which will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 3 and 4 June 2026. The event brings together members of the European potato community for the Association’s yearly gathering.

The European RUCIP Committee held a webinar on October 17, 2025 to mark the launch of the RUCIP 2025 Rules, highlighting updates for simpler, faster, and fairer resolution of potato trade disputes across Europe.

Grup Șerban Holding, Romania’s top potato producer and supplier, joins Europatat. Farming 13,000 ha, it supplies PepsiCo and retailers, expands storage and builds a frozen potato plant. Listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (GSH).
