The farm is based at Lodge Farm near the Essex coast and is a member of the East Suffolk Produce Grower Network, a farmer-led potato marketing and supply association formed to assist potato production, storage, and distribution in Suffolk and Essex.

J A Low & Son raises roughly 60 hectares of potatoes and onions each year, supplying produce to the packing industry and the fresh market supply chain.In addition to potatoes and onions, the farm grows a wider variety of arable crops as part of its crop rotation plan, including winter wheat, winter barley, spring barley, sugar beet, oilseed rape, and spring linseeds.
