Reliance Retail is the retail subsidiary of the Reliance group and is the largest retailer in India in terms of revenue.

Reliance Retail had a total of 3,837 stores in April 2018 in India with an area of over 17.7 million square feet across 750 cities, with yearly revenue of over INR 690 billion (USD 10 billion).

Using a range of different store formats, Reliance outlets offer foods, groceries, apparel and footwear, lifestyle and home improvement products, electronic goods, and farm implements and inputs. The company’s outlets also provide vegetables, fruits, and flowers.

Reliance retail was founded in 2006 by Mukesh Ambani and has seen enormous growth in a short period of time. V Subramaniam is the current CEO of the company.
