Princesa Amandine potatoes at Fruit Attraction in three stands and in three formats

Princesa Amandine will participate in Fruit Attraction (from October 3 to 5 at IFEMA Madrid) and can be found at the stands of three of its partners, Udapa (10G06, hall 10), Ibérica de Patatas (5E06, hall 5) and Campotec (8C08, stand Portugal Fresh 2023).

The Princesa Amandine Ibérica association is in charge of marketing the Princesa Amandine potato in Spain and Portugal for four years.

In this last 2022/2023 campaign, the volume of potatoes sold has exceeded 7,000 tons, which represents 27% more than the previous campaign.

Triple format

Jean Michel Beranger, General Director of the Princess Amandine Ibé Association:
 
"Our classic 1.5 kg bag with 46-55 mm caliber potatoes for longer preparations is our reference product that is available in Lidl, Alcampo, Carrefour, Ahorramás, Eroski, DIA, Sánchez Romero, Hipercor, Supercor, La Plaza, Mas y Más, Unide, Lupa, Lecrec and Consum."

"Around this, we have two solutions for other types of consumers, more urban and who have less cooking time, such as the 25-45mm microwave potatoes that come in a bag ready in 7 minutes and the Quinta Gama potato already cooked steamed in a 450 gram format, which is presented with skin, seasoned with oil, Provencal herbs and salt in a cardboard case format."

"We are the only brand present at Fruit Attraction that offers the same variety of potatoes all year round and the consumer highly values this aspect and thus there are no surprises."
This has meant that Princesa Amandine has been recognized for the last two years consecutively as Flavor of the Year in the retail category.

Princesa Amandine has thus developed the first Potato Observatory where it studies consumption and purchasing habits based on the opinion of 850 consumers, a barometer that it will carry out periodically to share with its customers and has reached an agreement with Kantar for the obtaining data about the market.

With the latest addition of the leading wholesale distribution chain for hospitality, Makro, Princesa Amandine can currently be purchased in 15 national distribution chains such as: Lidl, Alcampo, Carrefour, Ahorramás, Eroski, DIA, Sánchez Romero, Hipercor, Supercor, La Plaza , Mas y Más, Unide, Lupa, Lecrec, Consum and Makro.
