The Chenlibel potato variety is one of four new high-yielding varieties developed in Azerbaijan, alongside Ugur, Turan, and Vagif. These varieties were introduced by the Scientific Research Institute of Vegetable Growing under Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Agriculture. As of early 2020, they were undergoing official registration with the Agency for Agricultural Services.
