The Aravan Agro Service in Kyrgyzstan more than doubled its potato yield and profits in 2016 by partnering with the United States through the USAID Agro Horizon project.

According to AKIpress, the Potato Processing Plant that is being constructed in the village of Teploklyuchenka, Ak-Suu district of Issyk-Kul region in Kyrgyzstan is scheduled to start production on 1 December 2014.

Kyrgystan's new agency Akipress reports that a potato processing plant in Issyk-Kul region will produce potato flour and starch initially, referring to a report of the Economy Ministry.
