Resson, a predictive analytics company for the agricultural industry, welcomed Mahindra & Mahindra as a strategic partner, joining existing strategic partners, which include McCain Foods and Monsanto Growth Ventures.
Benjamin 'Benjy' Firester, 18, of New York City, won the top award in the Regeneron Science Talent Search 2018 with a mathematical model that uses disease data to predict how weather patterns could spread late blight spores.
Big data was something McCain Foods discovered by chance. 'What happened really was we have some research projects and those projects appeared to be in the realm of big data,' says Leclerc, who will be speaking at the Big Data Congress in Saint John, New Brunswick next month.
