Dutch Potato Starch cooperative Royal Avebe today publishes its integrated annual report 2019/2020.

After an exciting battle, the winner of the DACT Treasury Award 2020 has been announced. Avebe received the most votes from the members of the Dutch Association of Corporate Treasurers (DACT).

In financial year 2019/2020 Dutch Potato Starch Producer Royal Avebe achieved a performance price of 96.15 euros. This is a fraction below the record result - 96.63 euros - of the previous financial year.

Today Avebe's potato campaign starts in the Netherlands. Following an unstable growing season, the first potatoes are being delivered to the Gasselternijveen location.

Dutch Potato Starch Manufacturer Avebe recently announced the final campaign price of 76.50 euros per ton of potatoes to its members.

Recently the international manufacturer of processed potato products Lamb Weston / Meijer announced to expand its business in order to meet the worldwide increased demand for potato flakes.

For the first time, Avebe has combined its annual financial report with a detailed report on its strategy and sustainability policy. The result is an integrated annual report that sets a new standard in the potato starch sector.

Royal Cosun will appoint Chris Deen (52) as CEO of the Aviko Group with effect from January 15th, 2020. Chris will succeed Ton Christiaanse who holds this position on an interim basis.

In financial year 2018/2019, which ended on 31 July 2019, Avebe achieved a performance price of 96.63 euros. In the previous financial year it was 85.81 euros.

Earlier this year, Tom Brooijmans started working as New Business Manager at Novidon. In this new role Tom will work on new business development projects and new innovative products.

Dutch Potato Starch cooperative Avebe can now call itself 'Royal'. In honour of its 100 years anniversary on November 11, the Dutch King, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander awarded Avebe the Royal Warrant.

Following an unpredictable cultivation season, the Avebe production locations have now started up again. The first potatoes are ready to be delivered at the locations in Gasselternijveen (NL) and Dallmin (Germany).

For a European potato processor, Idaho Steel and Kiremko have built four drum dryers with a total maximum capacity of 4.500 kg potato flakes per hour.
