Agrico will welcome you to its annual Varieties and Seedlings Show, where the latest breeding results and innovative potato varieties will be showcased.

The HZPC Potato Days 2024 are scheduled for November 7th and 8th, from 9 AM to 5 PM, at the Royal HZPC Group headquarters in Joure.

On November 6, 7, and 8, 2024, The Potato Company B.V. (TPC) will host its 20th variety show. During this annual event, the latest potato varieties will be showcased.

Royal Avebe's starch potato campaign is in full swing. The initial results show good quality of the starch potatoes delivered.

Gerard Backx, CEO of the Royal HZPC Group, says there is an imbalance in the Dutch seed potato market. He expects less volume of these potatoes to be available this season. Although there is a good tuber count in many areas, and the harvest should be successful, the wet summer significantly damaged some areas.

This week, the first potatoes will arrive for Royal Avebe's potato campaign. The potatoes from Avebe's farmer members will be processed into potato starch and potato protein.
