AVR expands its dealer network in Northern Netherlands after GroeNoord’s bankruptcy, adding 7 new dealers and reinforcing support with its own Sales and Service Team to ensure expert advice and fast service for potato machinery customers.

Preparations for PotatoEurope 2025 are underway at Wageningen University’s Lelystad site. Alegria potatoes, known for high yield and disease resistance, are planted. The event on Sept 3-4 will showcase innovations in harvesting and cultivation.

Agristo Masa and AVR, both companies with West Flanders and Belgian roots, are strengthening their cooperation with a new investment intent. During the Belgian Economic Mission to India (26 February - 5 March 2025), led by Princess Astrid, Stefan Top, Managing Director of AVR, and Agristo Masa signed an agreement for the purchase of two additional AVR potato harvesters within the next two years. This follows an earlier delivery of an AVR harvester earlier this year.

Potato Days UK, held in early September at Dyson farming’s Nocton Farm in Lincolnshire, ended on a high note, meeting visitor and exhibitor expectations.

On Wednesday, 4 September, at Nocton, Lincolnshire, the new Potato Days UK will be kicking off, offering a full two-day programme of exhibition, trial plots, professional programme, and live machinery demonstrations. Visitors enter for free on both days, 4 and 5 September, with prior registration needed.

The AVR Spirit 9200 potato harvester had already established a new standard for 2-row offset bunker harvester. AVR had improved its well-known Spirit line even further to accommodate the highest segment in potato harvesting.
