Het Agri Investment Fund van de Belgische Boerenbond wordt aandeelhouder van de beursgenoteerde groep PinguinLutosa. Die is gespecialiseerd in diepvriesgroenten en aardappelverwerking.
Het Fund neemt daartoe de participatie van 1,057 miljoen aandelen over van KBC Private Equity.
Tegelijk engageert het Agri Investment Fund zich samen met het in vesteringsfonds Gimv-XL en Food Invest International om voor minstens 44 miljoen euro aan vers geld in te brengen bij een kapitaalverhoging voor het bedrijf, die dit najaar gepland staat.
Het Agri Investment Fund wil helpen om PinguinLutosa te verankeren in Vlaanderen. Het Fund is ook al aandeelhouder bij Scana Noliko.
