Keogh's launches roast turkey & secret stuffing crisps for Christmas
december 19, 2012

Keogh’s, family producers of Irelands hand-cooked Irish potato crisps, is launching its Roast Turkey &Secret Stuffing variety in time for Christmas.

The festive crisps are being stocked throughout Ireland, at retailers including Superquinn, Tesco and Supervalu.

The new gluten-free Roast Turkey &Secret Stuffing variant adds to the existing four flavours – Roast Beef and Dungarvan Irish Stout, Dubliner Irish Cheese &Onion, Atlantic Sea Salt and Lewellyn’s Irish Cider Vinegar and Shamrock and Sour Cream, which launched earlier this year to coincide with St Patricks Day.

Keogh’s hand-cooked Irish crisps first launched to market in 2011.

The Keogh family have been growing and farming potatoes in north county Dublin for over 200 years.

The current entrepreneurial generation last year set up a small ‘crisping house’ on their farm, hand cooking crisps in small batches and turning them from “crop to crisp” on the same day.

Keogh’s are the only potato growers in the world who offer fresh potatoes and potato crisps from the same farm, side by side in the same store.

Tom Keogh of Keogh’s Farm said of the new flavour:

“Our family’s stuffing recipe has been a Christmas favourite for many years, with ingredients picked fresh from the farmhouse garden. We’ve seasoned these crisps with our own secret stuffing and succulent roast turkey to give an authentic festive flavour.”
