Belgen zijn echte aardappelliefhebbers, maar blijken bijzonder weinig te weten over hun favoriete gerecht.
Dat blijkt uit cijfers van het Onderzoeks- en Informatiecentrum van de Verbruikersorganisatie (OIVO).
Slechts 1 op de 3 (35%) kent de prijs van een zakje aardappelen. 9 op de 10 landgenoten kan ook maar 3 soorten aardappelen (en dat zijn dan nog de bekende Nicola, het Bintje en de Charlotte) opsommen.
De Belgen willen best wel een centje neertellen voor een zakje aardappelen. Voor 1 kilo aardappelen willen de Belgen tussen de 0.80 en 2.60 euro betalen.
