Se reciben propuestas para trabajar en un programa de investigación de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato (UTA), inicialmente en el área de germoplasma de papa.
La vacante está abierta a doctores (Ph.D) ecuatorianos o extranjeros que al momento de aplicar no vivan en el Ecuador.
Los recursos serán cubiertos por una Beca Prometeo de la Secretaría Nacional de Educación Superior, Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación (SENESCYT) del Ecuador y el apoyo de un programa colaborativo entre la Universidad Nacional de Australia AUN), el Instituto Nacional Autónomo de Investigaciones Agropecuarias (INIAP) y el Centro Internacional de la Papa (CIP).
