Tong Peal Engineering appoints Steven Skipper as new area manager

Tong Peal Engineering, the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of vegetable grading and handling equipment, has boosted its sales team with the appointment of a new area sales manager who will help drive sales in 2015.

Steven Skipper has over 25 years experience and has worked for UK machinery manufacturers in the agricultural, food processing and recycling industries.

Steven will be using this wealth of experience to support the sales team to expand the businesses customer base with new orders. Steven will be based at Tong Peal Engineering’s office in Spilsby, Lincolnshire, but will also spend a significant amount of his time on the road, visiting new and existing customers about their equipment needs.

Edward Tong, operations director for Tong Peal Engineering said: “Steven wil be a valuable addition to our sales team and help us reach our sales targets for 2015. With the introduction of our new upgraded Caretaker model and many other new product developments planned for the packhouse and recycling industries, we want to ensure new and exisiting customers know about our technically advanced equipment.”
