The performance of the Metcalfe’s skinny popcorn® brand has been helped by impressive results from Cinema Sweet which has generated almost £600k in retail sales since its launch in January 20164. Building on this recipe for success, the team has once again used a 100% natural stevia blend to develop a product that is lighter - offering just 121 calories per serving - and yet doesn’t compromise at all on taste. In addition, Metcalfe’s skinny Maple Bacon is gluten-free, nut-free and suitable for vegetarians.
Metcalfe’s skinny has always been known for innovation, first bringing Sweet ‘n Salt popcorn to the UK market 7 years ago. The choice of the popular new flavour combination of Maple Syrup with Bacon will help the brand stimulate further interest and engagement within the popcorn category.
