Smart portable warehouses by Silopapa allow the field storage of potatoes, sweet potatoes and onions, maintaining the quality of the production practically and economically for a period of 5 to 6 months.

SiloPapa allows portable storage in modules of 500 tons of tubers, with the benefit of being able to assemble and disassemble easily so that the producer can choose the work area. The raw material is stored in bulk, simplifying operations and reducing handling costs. It operates with a ventilation and temperature control system.
 

It has an innovative, intelligent ventilation system. The entire operation is controlled through a mobile phone application (APP) in iOS/Android systems. This plant reads the external temperature of the environment and thus ventilates and cools the raw material during the night until the desired target temperature is achieved.

The structure allows excellent thermal insulation, protecting the potatoes during the day, thus providing air recirculation inside through the internal ventilation ducts. This system is programmable depending on what the user requires in terms of product temperature.

During the first days of storage, it allows strong constant ventilation to extract the humidity of the field that the potatoes have. After this curing (closure of wounds), anti-sprouting is applied in its multiple commercial versions that exist for a prolonged stage of storage, thus allowing effective harvest storage.
