The GRIMME WH 200 is a mounted windrower designed for harvesting potatoes and other root crops under a wide range of field conditions. Built for versatility and efficiency, it is ideal for farmers entering mechanised harvesting, requiring a minimum tractor power of 68 hp.
Depending on the configuration, the crop can be deposited centrally or laterally behind the machine. Central discharge is typically used when potatoes are collected manually, while lateral discharge supports mechanised collection.
The WH 200 can be equipped with a crop cross conveyor, enabling an enhanced harvesting process. In this system, crops from two rows are deposited between adjacent rows and later harvested together, improving crop protection, enhancing sieving efficiency, and significantly increasing the output of the following harvester.
The machine is compact and robust, ensuring durability while delivering gentle soil separation and wide, uniform tuber placement for better drying. Its mounted design improves manoeuvrability, especially on headlands.
The WH 200 incorporates well-proven digging units derived from 2-row harvester technology, ensuring reliable performance. For heavy digging conditions, a mechanically adjustable rotary agitator provides additional gentle sieving on the second main web, improving soil separation efficiency.
Windrowing allows the harvested potatoes to be laid on the soil surface for drying before collection, supporting better storage quality and harvesting efficiency.
