PotatoEurope 2025, gepland op 3 en 4 september in Lelystad, Nederland, toont live demonstraties van machines, slimme agri-technologie en innovaties in de aardappelteelt. Met meer dan 300 exposanten en 15.000 bezoekers is het dé toonaangevende ontmoetingsplek om te innoveren, netwerken en groeien.

In 2025 wordt er meer dan 83 duizend hectare consumptieaardappelen geteeld. Dat is 8,6 procent meer dan een jaar eerder. Voor het laatst lag het areaal consumptieaardappelen boven de 80 duizend hectare in het jaar 2000.
