Graminor AS develops plant varieties for the agricultural and horticultural industry in Norway. Their social mission is to deliver new plant varieties adapted to Norwegian and Nordic growing conditions.

Their aim is to give the Norwegian farmer access to the best varieties for his local conditions, a simpler and more predictable operation and a more sustainable production. Graminor develops new varieties of cereals, meadow crops, potatoes, fruit and berries.

Their main tasks are variety development, testing and representation of foreign varieties, and pre-base production. Pre-basic production is the production of seeds and seeds which are sold to seed companies for further propagation and sale to the farmer. They are also jointly responsible for the propagation of elite plants and seed potatoes.
