Hort Innovation is Australia's grower-owned, non-profit horticultural research and development business.
In the potato business, it manages two levy-funded programs: the Potato - Fresh Fund and the Potato - Processing Fund.
These programs fund research and development projects targeted at increasing productivity, sustainability, and market access for both fresh and processed potato growers. The PotatoLink extension program offers growers access to current research, best practices, and on-farm demonstrations.
Hort Innovation has also invested in pest and disease management tactics, sustainability studies, and international collaborations to boost the competitiveness of Australia's potato business.
