Super Ricas (Comestibles Ricos S.A.)

Super Ricas is the third largest savory snack company in Colombia, after Frito-lay (first) and Yupi (second).

The current market share of Super Ricas in the Colombian market is 11% (2014). The company has 700 employees and a turnover of 135,000 million Columbian pesos (73 million USD) with a stated goal of 26% growth.

Currently the export of Super Ricos is only 0.6% of its turnover, but the company has plans to increase export in particular to Chili, Costa Rica, United States (Miami, New York) and Europe (Spain) targeting Colombian and Latino consumers in these markets.

Super Ricas is also investing in its production capacity and has recently brought in new packaging machines and doubled the capacity of its potato processing equipment.
