The GWPPPDT (Walloon Group of Potato Plant Producers and Seed Multipliers), founded in 1975, represents Walloon potato seed multipliers and advocates for their interests as a Recognized Professional Union. 

The group works with regional, federal, and European authorities to address issues such as quality certification, phytosanitary regulation, food safety, and sustainability. It also participates in the European Seed Potato Growers Group (ESPG), to line with European standards.

The GWPPPDT collaborates closely with the Walloon Region and Fiwap (the Walloon Potato Sector) to coordinate research, organize applied trials, and distribute useful knowledge via meetings, field visits, study tours, and publications. It contributes to the Potato Pilot Center's R&D program while also promoting Walloon potato plants locally and globally through initiatives such as Potato Europe and Interpom.
