Shares of Burger King Holdings ( BKC) rose 4.5 percent, the most in about six months.

Glen Petraglia, a Citigroup Investment Research analyst, upgraded the stock to ''buy'' from ''hold'' and said it could reach $28 a share. Shares closed at $25.54, up $1.09.
