A new range of frozen foods has been launched by McCain. The company has introduced the Simply Gorgeous line to its potato products as a premium option, Talking Retail reports. Among the first products to be included are Simply Gorgeous Chunky Chips, which are made from British potatoes that have been fried and basted in beef dripping. They will be joined by Simply Gorgeous Roasting Potatoes, also made from potatoes sourced in the UK but this time basted in goose fat. McCain Foods marketing director Simon Eyles said the range offers "a new taste experience", adding: "Brits love their chips and we wanted to create a really indulgent chip for those special occasions when you really want to treat yourself."The Simply Gorgeous range launches next month and will be supported by a £3 million marketing campaign.
